Immersive experiences a community highlight at UNCHARTED 2026

TEDxTinHauWomen 2026 participants enjoying high-touch professional makeup services by The Estee Lauder Companies’ makeup artists.

Our 2026 fair experience brought together our community through fantastic immersive experiences which we are proud to spotlight here. The first of these was from our Diamond partner, Estée Lauder Companies, who kicked off their breast cancer campaign in Hong Kong at TEDxTinHau Women 2026. Hear more from ELC below.

Over thirty years ago, when Evelyn H. Lauder founded The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign, she spoke about the scale of defeating breast cancer and said, “It really is something that can never be done by one person; it has to be done by a group.” Inspired by this, the Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) launched its Breast Cancer Campaign in Hong Kong at TEDxTinHau Women on October 2, 2026, at the Xiqu Center.

United by the shared belief that awareness can inspire action, ELC and TEDxTinHau Women came together to champion and share the message Breast Care is Self-Care with the event’s more than 1,000 attendees. Together, the partnership spread an important message, encouraging women across generations to take proactive steps for their breast health, supporting Evelyn’s vision of a breast cancer-free world for all.

As a Diamond Sponsor, ELC was delighted to support TEDxTinHau Women as it celebrated its 10th anniversary. Throughout the event, attendees visited the immersive ELC Breast Cancer Campaign booth at the community fair to learn more about breast health and the importance of early detection. An interactive quiz encouraged participants to test their knowledge and deepen their understanding of breast health, sparking meaningful conversations around breast cancer awareness. Making breast health part of our self-care is an important investment in long-term wellbeing.

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer affecting women in Hong Kong, making early detection critical. Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation’s (HKBCF) recommends that women aged 40 and above follow a three-step breast health examination routine:

  • Monthly breast self-examination
  • Biennial clinical breast health examination
  • Biennial mammogram

When detected early, breast cancer has a survival rate of nearly 100% and often requires less complex treatment, reducing the need for chemotherapy, minimizing physical and emotional trauma, and lowering medical costs.*

The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign will continue throughout the month of October. From October 21–29, 2026, ELC will present the art exhibition More Than a Diagnosis – Life Before, During and After Breast Cancer at Atrium I, Harbour City, Hong Kong, offering another opportunity to foster dialogue, increase understanding, and inspire action.

Proceeds from sales of limited-edition ‘pink’ products from Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Jo Malone London, and TOM FORD BEAUTY at brand stores support the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation’s (HKBCF) work across the local community.

Join us in being Beautifully United to End Breast Cancer.
