We are very grateful to have new supporters join us on our journey this year – both big and small – to help us continue to raise a strong dialogue around pertinent issues and champion our mission to provide a platform for ideas that are dedicated to women in Hong Kong.

As the organizer of a non-profit event, we direct sponsorship towards renting an accessible venue, photography, videography, and curating a memorable experience for our guests. All of this helps us set the stage for our speakers to share ‘ideas worth spreading’.

We view our sponsors as partners who are joining us to take Two Steps Forward, and this year we are excited to welcome our title sponsors – Logitech and Mayer Brown – whose contribution makes it possible for us to shine a light on Hong Kong’s unsung stories and inspirational speakers.

1. Why have you decided to sponsor TEDxTinHau Women?

Logitech – DEI is integral to our company purpose and values: We are taking action to address the need for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive society. We are actively cultivating a culture of inclusive leaders who work together to ensure that employees, suppliers, partners, and customers feel supported, and are part of a thriving, diverse community. We are therefore very excited to support TEDxTinHau Women to see great ideas shared amongst a wider community in Hong Kong.

Mayer Brown – At Mayer Brown, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential. We are delighted to support TEDxTinHau Women who are pushing forward thought-provoking ideas affecting women, enriching the conversation on equity and inclusion, and sharing parts of our Hong Kong community and culture. Our shared values and belief in their mission have inspired us to sponsor and join this fantastic event since its inception in 2017.

2. What can we look forward to experiencing at your booth this year?

Logitech – Designing a more positive and equal future is something we stand for at Logitech. And this starts, of course, by identifying the underserved groups, better understanding them, their needs and in the end creating experiences and solutions simply designed for them. We can’t wait for guests to visit our innovation lounge to showcase how we have re-invented ourselves from the design, the colors, the features, the marketing – to be more inclusive of female and young users and make their life better. 

Mayer Brown – We invite guests attending TEDxTinHau Women to visit our ‘Inclusion for All’ booth to immerse themselves in a truly unique experience that harnesses the power of Virtual Reality to bring to light the issues faced by ethnic minorities, and particularly the women in these communities in Hong Kong. Our display has been curated with The Zubin Foundation and City University of Hong Kong. Guests can interact with our dynamic experiences and are encouraged to take part in our art display by making two commitments which support this community.
