I grew up with two older brothers and studied a very male-dominated subject at university, so it was late in my life that I discovered the true power of having inspiring female role models to look to for advice and inspiration. I now make it my personal mission to surround myself with strong, inspiring women and being a part of the TEDx community is a great way to reinforce that!
